Plymouth, Ma. 02360 AugustAugust 17th Saturday The 15th Annual Woodstock Volunteer Appreciation Day (WAIV Woodstock Appreciates its Volunteers) “A Day of Gratitude" In the Village of Woodstock, N.Y. Music all Day in various in and out door venues! Jumping on the Hunger Bus will be John Jensen, the Professor, Flav Martin and (myself) Chakulla and we will be making music where ever the opportunity arrises solo and in Concert! "Cows and Thunder” (Steven Capazola and Rob Remerez) will be on the outdoor Stage behind the Colony in their back field at 3:30pm and I (Chakulla) have been asked to join them for this Concert. Lucky Me! August 18th Sunday 2 - 9:pm: Summerfest, CT. “Homecoming” Music Festival in Veterans Memorial Park, the Slab 100 Canal Street West, Shelton, CT. 06484 Performers: John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, Hey Nineteen (a Steely Dan Tribute Band), The Rico Monaco Band (featuring Percussionist Tito Puente Jr.) and: Chakulla and the Hunger Bus with John Jensen, the Professor, and Special International Musical Guest Artist: Flav Martin (solo and in Concert) (Google Flav Martin)… We will be opening the Festival at 2:pm on the Hunger Bus Stage and will be making music during the Bands setups and break downs. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, etc… and non-perishable Food Items and Help Feed Hungry Children/People locally! This will Benefit; The Spooner House in Shelton, CT. For Reservations: (845)679-ROCK OctoberOctober 20th Sunday 12:30-3:pm Benefit for the Jonnycake Center of Westerly, Rhode Island to be held at: Rhody Coffee Roasters, 388 Church Street (Rt.91) Richmond, R.I. Ken Marot (owner) is introducing his newly added Food Truck dubbed “Rhody Roasters Cafe” which is open 7 days a week, 6:am-6:pm featuring Rhody Roasters Coffee drinks, muffins, sandwiches, soft ice cream, shaved ice, etc… Ken wants to Help the Community and will donate the proceeds from every pound of his coffee (roasted fresh on the premises) sold that day to the Jonnycake Center! Chakulla and the Hunger Bus will be staging the Music featuring: Flav Martin with Chakulla and special guests. Entertainment is planed for the whole Family to enjoy! As always, bringing a donation of Non-perishable food items will be appreciated more than you can imagine!
